An extraordinary sitting of Parliament is scheduled for Thursday at 10:30am.
It will deal with the Opposition’s Motion for the removal of President Paula-Mae Weekes.
Opposition Leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar said the Opposition has received notification of the sitting. The Opposition Leader noted she has written to the President regarding the Public Service Commission issue.
Mrs. Persad-Bissessar made her comments during a United National Congress Virtual Report on Monday.
