Veni a mi casa! That’s the cry of welcome from Parang lovers who want the paranderos to visit their homes.
It is also the request or theme of the National Parang Association of Trinidad and Tobago (NPATT) as they launched the first ever Parang Tent in La Joya on Thursday.
Project Manager of NPATT, Cassell George, says that while entertainment is a huge aspect of this project, they are also heavily focused on spreading knowledge to their audience.
The event which is scheduled for a total of three nights will feature five Parang bands and three Soca Parang artistes.
