Government is confident the latest interest in the Pointe-a-Pierre Refinery could bear fruit.
At a Public Accounts Enterprise Committee Meeting on Wednesday, it was revealed that there were at least eight expressions of interest for the purchase, lease or restart of the Refinery.
Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley ,responding to the development, said there was interest in the past that did not come to pass. But he said Government will keep a close eye and is confident this time around of a potential successful bidder.
