The People’s National Movement (PNM) has selected its two candidates for the bye elections to be held on June 17th.
The nominees appeared before the party’s Screening Committee at Balisier House, Port of Spain on Thursday.
Anderson Nanan is the candidate for Quinam/ Morne Diablo and Autly Granthume the candidate for Lengua/Indian Walk.
A special meeting of the PNM’s Central Executive will be convened on Monday May 20th to consider and approve the recommendations of the Screening Committee.
Minister of Rural Development and Local Government and Member of Parliament for San Fernando West, Faris Al-Rawi, shared some insight into the screening process while speaking to the media on Friday at Gulf City.
