Three persons will compete against incumbent Dr. Keith Rowley for the post of Political Leader of the PNM.
This was announced by Chairman of the party’s Election Supervisory Committee, Anthony Roberts, following a Media Conference on Monday evening.
The four candidates vying for the top position are Dr. Keith Rowley, Karen Nunez Tesheira, Junior Barrack, and Ronald Boynes.
Mr. Roberts said the party was happy to see the vast amount of candidates vying for the 16 positions.
He confirmed that voting for the internal elections will take place on the 26th and 27th of November, and again on December 4th. Mr. Roberts noted that this was to ensure all members in the party had their chance to cast their ballot.
Three of the 16 positions are unopposed: Camille Robinson-Regis for the post of Lady Vice-Chairman, Foster Cummings for General Secretary, and Faris Al-Rawi for Public Relations Officer.
