Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar is urging fathers to remain actively involved in their children’s lives.
In her Father’s Day message, the Prime Minister said children need the confidence that comes from knowing their father is present, interested and invested in their lives.
Mrs. Persad-Bissessar described fatherhood as both a profound responsibility and a precious blessing, noting that fathers help shape lives, strengthen communities and inspire future generations through their love, sacrifice and example.
She also thanked fathers, grandfathers and father figures across the country for their devotion and sacrifices, saying their acts of courage, selflessness, and care help build a stronger Trinidad and Tobago.
