Multimedia artist, puppeteer and founder of Rembunction Productions, Roland “Remy Rembunction” Yearwood, joins Trinidad and Tobago Today to discuss Puppet Pavilion, a six-day workshop designed to introduce children to the art of puppetry.
Taking place from August 10 to 15 at the Elevated Arts Creative Hub in Maraval, the programme gives participants the opportunity to design, build and perform with their own puppets while developing creativity, confidence and communication skills. Yearwood also shares how puppetry can inspire storytelling, celebrate Caribbean culture and encourage young people to express themselves through the performing arts.
