Rude Boy Signs Nailah Blackman As Brand Ambassador

Rude Boy, the Caribbean beverage brand, has named soca star Nailah Blackman as its newest brand ambassador.

The partnership was officially launched on Friday at Independence Square.

Trinidad and Tobago soca artiste Nailah Blackman is the newest face of Rude Boy.

“Thank you guys so much, we ain’t done yet, the official Rude Boy plaque, somebody scream. Welcome to the Rude Boy family. Oh my God thank you so much, Rude Boy, thank you so much Bryden’s. Thank you so much, Trinidad and Tobago.”

The signing ceremony was celebrated with a high-energy performance from the artiste on the Brian Lara Promenade on Friday.

“The promenade is really my home. I grew up on the promenade. So to do this here was really special for me. I feel really good to be aligned to a brand like Rude Boy, international, regional, doing big things. I have amazing support and it is literally the best drink in Trinidad and Tobago right now. So I am super proud and there is so much more to come.”

Ms Blackman says the collaboration marks the beginning of ambitious plans for both her music and the brand.

“We’re literally going to take the brand, Rude Boy, our partnership, we’re going worldwide with it. And so is the music so I am looking forward. NBX Rude Boy, yuh done know.”

The soca star also revealed that 2026 will mark a major milestone, celebrating a decade in the music industry.

“This year is a big year for me. It’s marking a couple of months until my decade in music, in soca, as it’s been nine years so I am launching my album, Born a Diamond, this year. And I am really excited to see what a future project like this does for me, does for Trinidad and Tobago and we just here to stamp my name and do it big so look forward to my new album, Born a Diamond.”

Nailah Blackman is set to perform at Rude Boy Ultra Fest on May 30th, joining a lineup that includes dancehall artiste, Valiant.
