An analysis of data on school violence and indiscipline has identified 16 Secondary Schools that have the highest rate of school violence.
This, from Acting Leader of Government Business, Paula Gopee-Scoon, while responding to a Question in the Senate on Monday.
She said seven of the schools identified exhibited similar characteristics.
She said the Ministry of Education has collaborated with Ministries like National Security, Youth Development and National Service, Office of the Prime Minister, Gender and Child Affairs, Social Development and Family Services, Sport and Community Development, the Tobago House of Assembly, and other stakeholders to devise a National Schools Infraction Rubric.
