Support Services Activated Following Belmont Triple Murder

The Ministry of the People, Social Development and Family Services (MPSDFS) has expressed condolences following a shooting incident in Belmont on Thursday that left three people dead, including a child.

In a statement, the Ministry acknowledged the impact the event has had on the national community. It also noted that it is prepared to provide support through its service delivery units, including the National Family Services Division, as authorities respond to the aftermath of the incident.

According to the statement, the Ministry stands ready to assist efforts being considered by the Victim and Witness Support Unit of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service.
