Some more good news for this country as T&T will no longer be on the UK’s COVID-19 Red List as of 4AM on Monday October 11th, 2021.
This means that from October 11th, persons leaving T&T for the UK will no longer have to quarantine in a Government-approved hotel for 11 nights at a cost of some £2,285.
The UK’s Transport Secretary, Grant Shapps, also stated that later this month, instead of a PCR test, fully-vaccinated travellers from approved countries will be able to take a lateral flow test on Day 2 after arrival and can send a picture of their test to verify the result. Those who test Positive will be given a free PCR test to confirm their results.
Travellers who arrive in England before October 11th will need to follow the Red List rules.
