Trinidad and Tobago is playing a leading role in discussions with the US Government as to how energy security can be provided in the region.
This, from Minister of Energy and Energy Industries, Stuart Young, following a meeting at the US Department of State this morning with Deputy Assistant Secretary for Energy Transformation, Anna Shpitsberg.
He said the meeting was a continuation of their active discussions and engagement.
According to his social media post, discussions surrounded the initiatives for energy security in CARICOM, the use of renewables, and the potential of various projects to contribute to energy security.
