TTMA Awarded For Vaccination Efforts

The Trinidad and Tobago Manufacturers’ Association (TTMA) today received an award from the Chaguanas Borough on the celebration of its 31st Anniversary as a Borough. The award was in recognition of TTMA’s collaboration with the Mayor’s office resulting in approximately five hundred (500) hundred persons, including the vendors from the Chaguanas Market and Chaguanas Borough Office, being fully vaccinated.

TTMA in partnership with the Ministry of Health (MOH) and the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) in the successful execution of fourteen mass vaccination drives over a period of 6th June – 19th August, 2021. During this period, TTMA administered approximately 40,000 vaccines to the business community and the public.

President of the TTMA Ms. Tricia Coosal stated, “TTMA is greatly appreciative to be recognised by the Mayor of Chaguanas for our efforts in ‘Vaccinate to Operate’. TTMA feels fulfilled and rewarded on our significant contribution to the safe re-opening of the economy through our vaccination efforts.”

Ms. Coosal continued, “TTMA extends its sincerest congratulations and well wishes to the Borough of Chaguanas on its 31st Anniversary as a Borough.”
