The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service intends to remove 1,000 illegal firearms off the streets in the next four months.
This was announced by Police Commissioner Gary Griffith who says the TTPS will be collaborating with Crime Stoppers in a soon-to-be launched campaign.
Director at Crime Stoppers of Trinidad and Tobago, Darrin Carmichael, and senior officials at the TTPS gave details at a Media Conference today.
