Australian batter Usman Khawaja is present in T&T and toured the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Tarouba.
Khawaja visited various parts of the facility, including the dressing rooms, media centre, and of course the outfield and pitches. The left hander mentioned the outfield has quite good dimensions and is developed like a traditional West Indian ground.
The ICC T20 World Cup begins on Saturday June 1st with the first game at Tarouba on Wednesday June 12th 2024.
