The First Test between the West Indies and Bangladesh continued with Day 2 at the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Stadium at North Sound in Antigua.
Resuming on an overnight 250 for 5 with Joshua Da Silva on 14 and Justin Greaves 11, the West Indies lost Da Silva in the morning’s first over for his overnight score but his partner carried on to help the Windies to 336 for 7 by the lunch break with Greaves on 63 not out and Kemar Roach on 19. Greaves went on to register his maiden Test Century as he reached 115 not out, with the West Indies declaring after tea on 450 for 9. Roach ended on 47, while Jayden Seales chipped-in with 18.
Hasan Mahmud was the best bowler for Bangladesh with 3 wickets for 87 runs.
The West Indies made some inroads into the Bangladeshi batting line-up before the close of play, getting rid of the openers to have the visitors on 40 for 2 going into the third day.
