The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service is urging anyone with information about the recent threats made to staff and students at the Barrackpore East Secondary School to come forward.
In a statement on Wednesday, the TTPS said that they are condemning these reprehensible acts in the strongest possible terms as threats against educational institutions, especially those aimed at innocent students, are abhorrent and will not be tolerated. They also reassured that the Cyber and Social Media Unit is continuing investigations into the origin of the email.
On Sunday, the Barrackpore East Secondary School received an email via its official address, notifying the Principal of an intended threat to shoot students who entered the compound.
