Beach hours will soon be extended.
From Monday January 31st 2022, beaches in Trinidad and Tobago will now be open from 5AM to 6PM.
This decision was made after discussions between Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley and Chief Secretary of the Tobago House of Assembly, Farley Augustine.
Previously beaches were opened from 5AM to 2PM.
During today’s COVID-19 Update, Minister of Health Terrence Deyalsingh said he was given authorisation to make the announcement by the Prime Minister.
