Regardless of what the result is for the students who have done CSEC and CAPE, Minister of Education, Dr. Nyan Gadsby-Dolly, is encouraging parents, teachers and students to be proud of their effort.
She said it was a stressful time and, as a parent, she also had to deal with the challenges many parents would have faced in preparing for the exams.
The Minister congratulated all involved and added that by next week a breakdown of the results will be shared with the public.
She also gave an update on the reopening of physical school for Forms 4, 5 and 6. Minister Gadsby-Dolly said she met with all the stakeholders involved and they expressed their challenges and also offered suggestions on how they can be improved.
She noted that the number of students in physical schools is increasing.
