The Trinidad and Tobago Cycling Federation has named the team for the 2026 UCI Junior World Championships in Belgium.
Heading to the event will be Zion Lucas, Christian Nelson, Kafele Desomeaux, Kylee Young and Shamika Hoyte.
The team will be managed by Sheryl Leacock, with Gregory D’Andrade serving as coach and Sheldon Ramjit serving as mechanic.
The Championships will be contested from August 19 to 23, 2026.
Also heading out on international duty will be Tyriq Springer, who will represent T&T at the upcoming UCI Downhill World Championships in Italy from August 26th to 30th, 2026.
Springer is making history as the first rider to represent Trinidad and Tobago at the UCI Downhill World Championships.
