The village of Mason Hall was plunged into mourning after one of their young businessmen was murdered.
Police said 31 year old Shurvel Benoit, who resided at Belmont Road, returned home from work around 10pm on Monday.
He was confronted by two armed masked men demanding cash. During the confrontation, he was shot multiple times.
Villagers took to social media expressing their displeasure with the act. All indicated that Benoit, the owner of a Play Whe booth, was an ambitious businessman.
This is the third murder to take place in Mason Hall for the year.
