One vendor at the Milford Road Esplanade is claiming he is being treated unjustly.
On Monday, Ian Seon, the owner of Seon’s Ceramics and Variety Store, spoke with the media.
Mr. Ian Seon, a tenant of the Milford Road Esplanade for the past six years, received notice to vacate his booth. He claims like other tenants he has rental arrears outstanding but has been making efforts to address it.
Mr. Seon received Notice to quit his booth by September 6th. However, he did not comply. He told the media on Monday he received a further warning to vacate via text message.
Mr. Seon said he would be left with no choice but to return to Trinidad where he has other businesses. Last week, Chairman of the Esplanade’s Board Kevon Mckenna told the media tenants were owing rent payments some for close to three years.
