A search is underway for a hiker who went missing in Bagetelle, Diego Martin on Friday afternoon.
The Trinidad and Tobago Fire Service says the group went hiking from Bagatelle to 4th Palmiste and on returning, they realised that one member was missing.
The hiker, known as Anneicia Lewis, reportedly refused to cross a river to get to a waterfall.
The T&T Fire Service Land Search and Rescue Unit along with the Defence Force and TTPS Air Support Unit have joined to look for the missing woman, who they believe may have been swept away by the river.
Up to 5pm, the T&T Fire Service says their efforts have proven futile so far.
