“The Baking Room” is assuring that a full investigation is being launched into the recent incident where maggots were found in a pastry.
On Thursday, a customer took to social media complaining of the incident.
Via a social post on Friday, The Baking Room extended apologies to the customer and, by extension, the public, and assured that the matter is being dealt with.
Thus far, the company said that they have removed all meat pastries from their shelves, enhanced inspections and sanitisation, reviewed their suppliers, and implemented additional training for their staff.
