Wrecking operations resumed today in the city of Port of Spain.
Motorists have been urged by city police officers and officials to avoid breaching the traffic regulations.
Acting Sergeant Maharaj of the City Police said there has been a noticeable improvement in the flow of traffic in Port of Spain’s downtown area as motorists were adhering to the recently reinforced parking restrictions.
Some drivers were found to be in violation of the regulations and were subjected to fixed fines.
Officers were seen conducting inquiries to locate drivers and those that could not be found had their vehicles removed and taken to the impound facility.
