There will be another World Cup beginning on June 11th…the 2026 BetVictor World Cup of Darts. T&T’s James Walklin and Joshua Balfour will be the National team for the World Cup and they recently discovered who would be their early competition.
The group stage draw for the 2026 BetVictor World Cup of Darts has been officially confirmed, with Trinidad and Tobago’s pairing of James Walklin and Joshua Balfour drawn in Group J alongside Latvia and Italy.
The 40-team tournament gets underway on June 11 in Frankfurt, Germany, with group stage action concluding on June 12. Following the completion of the group stage, a second draw will determine the knockout bracket. Only the winner of each group will advance to the knockout rounds.
While the official match schedule has not yet been released, Trinidad and Tobago
are expected to see action on June 12. Following the draw, Joshua Balfour expressed confidence in the team’s prospects.
Walklin and Balfour are scheduled to depart Trinidad and Tobago on June 8 as
they prepare to represent the nation on one of darts’ biggest stages.
