A former Chief Secretary of the Tobago House of Assembly and a prominent businessman will be among five local pioneers who will receive Honorary Doctorates from the University of Trinidad and Tobago during its 2024 Graduation Ceremony.
Former Tobago House of Assembly Chief Secretary Orville London, and Chief Executive Officer of Coosal’s Group of Companies, Sieunarine Persad Coosal, will receive Honorary Doctorates alongside steelpan arranger Leon Edwards, master tuner Bertrand Kelman, and educator Marilyn Gordon.
The Ceremony will be held on October 28th and 29th at the National Academy for the Performing Arts, and will be presided over by the President of Trinidad and Tobago and Chancellor of The University of Trinidad and Tobago, Christine Kangaloo.
