Guyana Amazon Warriors remained top of the pile heading into the qualifiers with an 88-run victory over the Barbados Royals.
Built on the back of a 132-run partnership between Shai Hope and Kevlon Anderson, GAW set a target of 227 to win.
Rivaldo Clarke mustered the most resistance in the Royals innings, hitting 54 off 43 but they weren’t up to speed and fell short at the end of their allotted overs.
Hope was named Man of the Match.
Earlier in the day, Alex Hales smashed an unbeaten 119 as Jamaica Tallawahs convincingly won their second in a row against St. Lucia Kings.
Imad Wasim added 41 at number 5 for the Jamaica franchise.
In reply, St. Lucia Kings best knock was Banooka Raja-PackSa’s 22 at number 3 as they capitulated for 79 in 15 overs.
