Trinidad and Tobago officially begins its journey to the Miss Universe 2026 stage with the introduction of Vinita Manoo as Miss Universe Trinidad and Tobago 2026.
The 2026 campaign marks an exciting new chapter for Trinidad and Tobago’s participation in Miss Universe, bringing together pageantry, fashion, culture, tourism and original entertainment content to showcase the country to audiences at home and internationally.
Stolen Productions Ltd. (SPL) is managing the Miss Universe Trinidad and Tobago 2026 pageant production, overseeing the development and execution of the delegate’s journey to the international stage. SPL has also acquired the rights to film and produce an original reality series chronicling that journey.
Founded in Trinidad and Tobago, Stolen Productions Ltd. is an export-focused film, television and entertainment production company developing locally created content for international audiences. Its growing portfolio spans unscripted television, film, live entertainment and international pageantry-related productions.
MEET VINITA MANOO
Born and raised in San Juan, Manoo brings a distinctive combination of academic achievement, international experience and communications expertise to the title.
A national science scholarship recipient, she followed her passion for people, languages and cultures through studies in foreign languages and international relations. Her journey has taken her from Trinidad and Tobago to Colombia, France and across Europe and Latin America.
Manoo previously worked in communications at the Office of the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, contributing to national and international communications projects and supporting missions involving diplomats, international organisations and global conferences. She later completed a Master’s degree in Communications and Public Relations through an inter-campus programme between Scotland and Barcelona.
At 36, Manoo’s journey carries a message of resilience, reinvention and the freedom to pursue ambition at every stage of life. After navigating significant personal loss and major life transitions, she chose to reconnect with ambitions she had placed on hold and begin a new chapter.
Her message is simple: “There is no expiry date on becoming who you were meant to be.”
THE ROAD TO MISS UNIVERSE
Manoo will undertake an intensive programme of local and international preparation ahead of Miss Universe, incorporating fashion, beauty, communications, cultural experiences and specialised training.
Her journey will simultaneously unfold on screen through SPL’s upcoming reality production, offering audiences behind-the-scenes access to the preparation, personalities, pressures and transformation involved in representing Trinidad and Tobago on the Miss Universe stage.
Trinidad and Tobago has a celebrated Miss Universe legacy, producing Janelle Commissiong in 1977, the first Black woman to win Miss Universe, and Wendy Fitzwilliam in 1998. The 2026 campaign seeks to honour that history while introducing a new Trinidad and Tobago story to the world.
The Miss Universe Trinidad and Tobago 2026 journey is presented by Savage Restaurant, the official Presenting Partner, whose partnership supports the production and international journey of Trinidad and Tobago’s representative.
